How to Change your Email Password

You can easily change your email password at any time via your Online Control Panel. How you change your password will differ slightly depending on what plan you have with us.

This support guide will cover both methods, Dedicated Hosted Email or Website Hosting.

Dedicated Email Packages

Follow this section if you have a dedicated email hosting package such as Business or Enterprise email.

You can easily change your email password via your Online Control Panel

Once logged into your Control Panel, click on your domain (if you have more than one), and look for the Manage Email button.

Your email Control Panel will now open in a new tab. Select the option for Manage Users / Accounts

You’ll be presented with a list of your email users. Simply select Edit next to the account you’d like to change the password for.

Scroll down to the Password field and select Reset Password. Follow the onscreen instructions, and a new password will be auto-generated for you.

Web Hosting Email

Follow this section if your email is included as part of a Web Hosting plan such as Multi Domain Linux or Starter Plan.

To start the rest process, log into your Online Control Panel.

Once logged into your Control Panel, click on your domain (if you have more than one), and look for the Manage Hosting button.

Your Hosting Control Panel will now open in a new tab. Scroll down to the Email section and select Email Accounts

You’ll be presented with the email accounts you already have set up. Select the Manage button next to the email address you wish the change the password for.

You’ll have the option to enter a new password here, you can also auto-generate one if you wish.

Reset on Webmail

You can also reset your password via your Webmail login page. To do this, simply navigate to webmail.yourdomain (e.g., if your domain is namescosupport.com your webmail login will be webmail.namescosupport.com).

Simply select Forgot Password? Link and follow the instructions.
