Introduction<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Within your Online Control Panel, you have full access to move domains to us but also can transfer them away from us to another company. When transferring a .com \/ .net \/ .org \/ .biz or .us domain name you will be required to get the domain name unlocked. An authorisation code will then be sent to you. This authorisation code is then given to the new provider. This guide will show you how to start the transfer process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Before moving away from Names.co.uk, are you aware you can point your domain name to another company without moving away? This will allow you to still have full control of your Billing and keep your domains all together in one account.     Step One<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    Navigate to our website names.co.uk<\/a><\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Once on the website, choose \u201cLog in\u201d <\/strong>found on the top right-hand side of the page and log into your Online Control Panel. If you need assistance with this, please follow this guide<\/a><\/u><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Step Two<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    Once you have successfully logged into your Online Control Panel, navigate to the \u201cServices\u201d<\/strong> tab and from the drop-down menu choose \u201cDashboard\u201d.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Step Three<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    The page that loads will show a list of your domain names. Please choose the domain name you are trying to transfer away from the list.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Step Four<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    If you navigate to the bottom of the page, you will see a section called \u201cDomain Transfers\u201d <\/strong>\u2013 choose this option.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Step Five<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    The page that loads will give a list of transfer options for the current domain name. Near the bottom you will see a section called \u201cTransfer domain away from Namesco\u201d<\/strong> \u2013 Choose the highlighted blue link which says, \u201cClick Here to transfer your domain away from Namesco\u201d.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
