This guide will go through the basics of Webmail<\/strong>, which is our application for you to receive emails and send them. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Note:<\/strong> You will need a Webmail <\/strong>package with us to follow this guide, if you need to purchase one then you can contact our team on 0345 363 3632.<\/strong> <\/p><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Firstly, you’ll need to log into Webmail<\/strong>. This is done from the homepage of our website<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

You should then be met with the Log In<\/strong> screen. Enter your Username <\/strong>and Password<\/strong>, and click Login<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Basics<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Once you have logged into Webmail<\/strong>, You will see the options seen in the picture below. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Refresh<\/strong> will check if there are any new messages within one of your folders, it will load any messages into this folder if it has been sent. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Compose<\/strong> will allow you to send an email to a recipient. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Reply<\/strong> allows you to respond to any selected email within your inbox. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Reply all<\/strong> is an option to reply to a list or the sender and all recipients. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Forward<\/strong> lets you forward an email that you have within a folder to another recipient\/ <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Delete <\/strong>will erase the email within a folder, this will be sent to your Deleted Items<\/strong> folder. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mark<\/strong> will allow you to tag an email as Read, Unread, Flagged, <\/strong>and Unflagged. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

More<\/strong> brings a drop-down menu for you to select from. This could be Printing a message, downloading the email, or moving the email to another folder.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Basics of Composing an Email<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

When composing an email, you have a few options to alter your email before you send it. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

You can add a recipient to CC (Carbon Copy) <\/strong>or BCC (Blind Carbon Copy) <\/strong>into the email so that they will be included within this email. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

There is a tool bar above the text box where you compose your email, this can help you edit the content within the box to your ideal liking before you send to the recipient. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sending attachments <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

If you need to send an attachment such as a Word Document <\/strong>or a PDF<\/strong>, this can be done in a few ways. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Files will be attached in a box on the Right Side<\/strong> of the screen when composing an email. You can click the button that says Attach a file<\/strong> and it will load your file manager. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

You can just simply drag files from your file manager and drop them into the Attach a File<\/strong> box. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

There is another option for attaching files above the message box, click Attach<\/strong> and this too will load your file manager. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Signatures. <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Email signatures are personalized blocks of text, typically located at the end of an email, that provide essential contact information, professional details, and branding elements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These can be created in Webmail,<\/strong> if you would need guidance in creating an Email Signature<\/strong> then please follow our guide here. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Folders<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Email folders are organisational tools that help you manage and categorise your emails efficiently. By creating folders, you can easily sort and locate messages, making it simpler to stay organized and find important information in your email inbox.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You will start your Webmail<\/strong> account with Inbox, Drafts, Sent, Spam, <\/strong>and Deleted Items<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the bottom of the column with your folders in, there will be a Settings<\/strong> Cog<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Selecting this will allow you to manage these folders, whether this is adding a new folder or editing a current folder. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

You can click on a folder and see how much storage you are using, just in case you need to delete emails. This will help you to know what folders have been allocated the most storage. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

You can add a new folder if you need it, selecting the + <\/strong>symbol at the bottom of the folders<\/strong> section. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Enter the Folder Name <\/strong>you want to call your folder. Parent Folder<\/strong> means that you will be selecting whether the folder will be a main folder<\/strong> or a subfolder<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

If you leave this option blank, it will create its own folder. If you select one of the other folders, this new folder will become a subfolder within that folder. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

These folders will then appear within the folders section within your webmail. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

You can also Delete <\/strong>or Empty <\/strong>folders, by selecting the Settings Cog <\/strong>at the bottom as displayed below. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Deleting <\/strong>a folder will completely remove this folder, including all contents, from webmail. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Emptying<\/strong> a folder will remove all of the content from a folder, but not remove this folder from webmail. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
