There are tools in your Online Control Panel to make transferring a domain name to your Names.co.uk account simple. If you don\u2019t have an account yet, please follow this form here<\/a><\/u><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This guide will explain how to transfer a domain name to us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Step One<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    Navigate to our website names.co.uk<\/a><\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Once on the website, choose \u201cLog in\u201d <\/strong>found on the top right-hand side of the page and log into your Online Control Panel. If you need assistance with this, please follow this guide<\/a><\/u><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Step Two<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    Once you have successfully logged into your Online Control Panel, navigate to the \u201cServices\u201d<\/strong> tab and from the drop-down menu choose \u201cDomains & Services\u201d.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Step Three<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    The page that loads will show a list of your domain names (If you currently own any). If you choose \u201cAdd Domain\u201d<\/strong> on the top right this will take you to the next step.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Step Four<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    You will be met with some options, but you will need to look for the section called \u201cTransfer a domain to us\u201d and <\/strong>then click on the blue link saying, \u201cClick here to begin the transfer process\u201d.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Step Five – Transferring a Nominet domain (ending .uk)<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    To transfer a domain ending .uk chose the option \u201cClick here to transfer .uk domains\u201d <\/strong>and follow the steps outlined on the next stage and start the transfer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Step Six – Transferring a .com .net .org .biz .info .mobi or .uk<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    To transfer a domain ending .com .net .org\u00a0 .biz .info .mobi or .us chose the option \u201cClick here to transfer .com .net .org .biz .info .mobi .us domains\u201d <\/strong>and follow the steps outlined on the next stage and start the transfer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Step Seven – Transferring a new gTLD to us<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    To transfer a new gTLD chose the option \u201cClick here to transfer New gTLD domains\u201d <\/strong>and follow the steps outlined on the next stage and start the transfer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Step Eight<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    To transfer a new gTLD chose the option \u201cClick here to transfer .ie domains\u201d <\/strong>and follow the steps outlined on the next stage and start the transfer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Step Nine<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    For all domain transfers not catered for by the options above, please either raise a transfer\u2019s enquiry or contact our Domain Transfers team on 0345 363 3636.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
