Enabling SSL for POP3 connections<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Please note you will need to update the incoming mail server in your mail client to ‘pop3.hosts.co.uk’.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Open Microsoft Outlook 2010 and click on the File<\/strong> tab and then Account Settings<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Click on the account you wish to modify and then click on the Change<\/strong> button<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Click on More Settings<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Select the Advanced<\/strong> tab. In the section Incoming Server<\/strong>, tick the box This server requires an encrypted connection (SSL)<\/strong>. This should change the port number to 995. Click OK<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Enabling SSL for IMAP connections<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Please note you will need to update the incoming mail server in your mail client to ‘imap.hosts.co.uk’.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
