When we create a VPS or Server, we also set up a "DNS Template" for you which allows you to easily point everything related to a domain over to your new server. This guide will walk you though the simple process of utilizing these templates.

If Your Domain is Registered With Namesco

  1. Log into your Namesco Online Control Panel.

  2. Click Domain Names on the left menu.

  3. Click on your domain name.

  4. Click DNS and Transfer Options from the left menu.

  5. Now simply select your VPS or Server from the drop-down list of templates. You should notice the page refreshes with new details in the boxes.

  6. Click Save at the bottom of the page to submit your changes.

If Your Domain is Registered With Another Provider

  1. Log into your Namesco Online Control Panel.

  2. Click DNS Administration from the left menu.

  3. Select your domain from the list. If you don't see your domain listed then select Add/Modify Zone(s) from the left menu instead.

  4. Enter your domain name(s) into the box with the same name. You can add multiple domains at the same time using this method.

  5. Now simply select your VPS or Server from the drop-down list of templates. You should notice the page refreshes with new details in the boxes.

  6. Click Save at the bottom of the page to submit your changes.

Don't forget you still need to set your domain to use the Namesco Name Servers before this change will take effect, if you haven't already. This is done through your registrar's control panel.

When selecting the template, the page should look like this:

In both instances you should see something similar to the image above, note your domain in the domains box and your server or VPS being selected in the drop-down box.
