Network at-risk maintenance Apr 22, 2024 09:45-18:00 BST
During this window we will be doing network maintenance to remove some legacy physical links and replace with new as part of our network lifecycle management program which will free up physical space for future network upgrades. No customer impact is expected, but customers may notice traffic flowing through our network and to/from the Internet via different paths during this maintenance.

The change of version will only take a few seconds during the 3 hour window. We advise customers to check compatibility with the new version.

Scheduled - we are updating our netapp storage appliance named CLANGER in order to benefit from bugfixes, performance improvements and better support future growth
f.y.i. we are updating from ontap version 9.9.1 to 9.13.1

we are going to use the nondisruptive rolling upgrade method - this way each service will only have (during our two hours maintenance window - indeed it will be less) 2 very short freeze (usually 5 to 30 seconds long) - usually to the end customer these freezes are not distinguishable from a transitory "slowdown of the internet connection", and in any case within 1-2 minutes everything returns to normal

anyway sysadmins will be there monitoring services during the upgrade in order to be ready to any unexpected event
