Virus protection
Protect your computer against malicious viruses, worms and trojans with our advanced virus protection system.
Once activated via your online control panel, all incoming email messages are individually scanned for suspicious content. Disguised, encoded and even compressed attachments are extracted in full and compared to a comprehensive database of known viruses. This database is updated every 2 hours to ensure rapid response when a new threat emerges.
Our advanced virus filter also scans and removes known scam e-mails. These include, the well publicised "419" email scams, phishing emails and certain types of unwanted image spam.
Virus protection is bundled for FREE with every Web Hosting, Email and Broadband Plan.

Illegal spammers use a wide range of tricks to circumvent standard email verification. But there are a number of tell-tale signs that can still be used to identify the vast majority. The Namesco spam filter uses a database of thousands of common spam emails and email addresses, plus additional algorithms to block almost all unsolicited mail.
Our developers have now created a 'slider' to give you, the customer, greater control over the level of spam protection you have. Previously, everyone has had the same pre-defined level of protection, but now each customer can choose the level that best suits their needs.
Our new advanced mail protection is available for all Web Hosting, Email and Broadband Plans. Simply log into your Control Panel, select your domain name and click the "email protection" link in the menu on the left.
